sunshine and scarce snow

In which the dogs & I explore the familiar confines of the grandparent's countryside.

Winter light in all its forms has me spellbound.

Life unfolds around me, humming with times that are good, bitter, or both. This is what I have loved about these months: all the learning.

"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." - Lamentations 3:22-23

....an entirely lovely mix of favorite place and people.

I love intentionally blurry photos. I love how they're simple and easy to take and then get right back into the action. I also love the way the memory attached to one is made sharper for its lack of definition. I remember how wonderful it was to walk around Dinkytown with some best friends, snapping pictures when it was dark enough for a tripod.
